Ever since Marvel Legacy #1, readers have been teased with glimpses of what appears to be Wolverine. But is it really Logan? The mystery continues this April 2018 in The Hunt For Wolverine #1. This one-shot will launch a new story following the potential return of this iconic character. Then, in May, four all-new four-part series will debut continuing the story.

As Wolverine’s past comes back to haunt many mutants, each story will harken back to an old school adventure. Leading this exciting event is Hunt for Wolverine and Death of Wolverine writer Charles Soule, along with a slew of talented creators attached to the various titles.

The four miniseries are Hunt for Wolverine: Weapon Lost #1-4 by Soule with art by Matteo Buffagni, Hunt for Wolverine: Adamantium Agenda #1-4 by Tom Taylor with art by R.B. Silva, Hunt for Wolverine: Claws of a Killer #1-4 by Mariko Tamaki with art by Butch Guice, and Hunt for Wolverine: Mystery in Madripoor #1-4 by Jim Zub with art by Chris Bachalo.

“I’ve been holding my tongue, just waiting to announce this project and team of ultra-talented creators. While these stories all reveal clues to the larger mystery behind Wolverine’s return, the writers all have some pretty huge moments planned that will have X-Men fans talking and debating for some time to come,” said series editor Mark Paniccia.

Heroes such as Daredevil, Kitty Pryde, Spider-Man, and Iron Man, will also become involved in the story, as they each try to unlock the mysteries surrounding Logan. Each miniseries will contain its own distinct genre with Weapon Lost serving as a noir-detective story and Adamantium Agenda more action-adventure focused. Meanwhile, Claws of a Killer will be a horror style, and Mystery in Madripoor is more of a dark romance.
