The Upside Down is coming to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights! During the annual event, which brings such horror properties as The Shining and American Horror Story to life, attendees will have the chance to step into the world of Stranger Things. According to the press release, a haunted attraction inspired by Netflix’s hit show will “bring the chittering, predatory Demogorgon to Halloween Horror Nights to stalk unwitting guests as they encounter iconic scenes, characters, and environments from the mesmerizing series.”

An all-new maze, inspired by the first season of the show, will debut at Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Orlando Resort, and Universal Studios Singapore. In collaboration with the Horror Nights design team, Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer and producer Shawn Levy are helping to recreate “the menacing Hawkins National Laboratory under the U.S. Department of Energy, the Byers home adorned with an erratic display of flashing Christmas lights, and the eerie Upside Down woods oozing a shower of floating orb-like spores.”

Halloween Horror Nights 2018 is taking place on select nights beginning September 14 at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort and September 28 at Universal Studios Singapore.
