On November 4, 2018, just a few short weeks away, the first West Coast convention dedicated exclusively to original comic book art is heading to Los Angeles. The LA Comic Art Show is being held at the Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles/Redondo Beach on 2410 Marine Avenue in Redondo Beach, California. 

Rather than comic books and collectibles, this one-day show will exclusively feature an incredible array of pages, covers, paintings, and pin-ups of original comic book, comic strip and illustration art from the 1940s to now! The spacious Breakwater Room will hold some of the nation’s top art dealer and exhibitors.

They include Cool Lines Art (Rich Donnelly), Genesis West (Mike Thibodeaux), Josh Gray, Leo Chua, Nostalgic Investments (Bechara Maalouf), Odyssey Comic Art (Saul Zimmerman), Panel Page Art (Glen Brunswick), Tri-State Original Art (Hans Kosenkranius), and Will’s Comic Art Page (Will Gabriel). Many more exhibitors are expected to be announced.

LA Comic Art Show will also include an exclusive display of sought after comic art pages. In addition, The Jack Kirby Museum will project over 1,200 Kirby original art pages from their Kirby Digital Archive. Artists, students, collectors, investors and fans alike will be able to buy, sell, trade, and celebrate original comic book art throughout the show.

LA Comic Art Show is running Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM. General admission is only $20 at the door, with those 15 and under admitted for free. Parking at the show is also free.
