When the first downloadable content pack arrives for Insomniac’s Spider-Man game for PlayStation 4 on October 23, 2018, it will not only increase the presence of Felicia Hardy/Black Cat in the game, but it will also introduce three new suits for Peter to sport.

Of these three, one is actually brand-new – this is being called the “Resilient Suit,” and is a fresh, angular design from Marvel artist Gabriele Dell’Otto. Dell’Otto’s work at Marvel has included art for Secret Invasion, Annihilation, X-23, Amazing Spider-Man: The Clone Conspiracy, and many more.

“We loved bringing original suits to the game, starting with our Advanced Suit, and continuing with Adi Granov’s Velocity Suit, and this is another great one,” said Insomniac Games director Ryan Smith about the new addition.

The other two suits are ones that longtime Spidey fans are bound to recognize from the comics – the “Spider-UK” suit, first seen in the 2014 Spider-Verse event, and the “Scarlet Spider II” suit, first seen in 2012’s Scarlet Spider #1. The Spider-UK suit is that of William Braddock, who, in the alternate universe seen in Spider-Verse, gives up being Captain Britain and instead becomes Spider-Man – and he bears the abilities of both alter-egos. The Scarlet Spider II suit originally belonged to Kaine Parker, another one of Peter’s clones.

The DLC for Spider-Man at large is called “The City That Never Sleeps,” and the first episode, “The Heist” arrives on October 23. The episode can be bought individually for $10, though the entire DLC lineup can be bought for $25.
