Hot Toys is pulling out all the stops with their new sixth scale Star Wars R2-D2 figure, complete with all the bells, whistles, and Princess Leia holograms. This 18cm tall Deluxe Version, similar to the previous R2-D2 figure, comes with remote control sound effects and enhanced light-up features. 

The new version however includes plenty of original trilogy accessories, such as the Death Star plans data card, Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber hilt, two mini Princess Leia hologram figures, various mechanical arms and tools, and so much more. 

Meticulously crafted in a diecast metal dome, the detailed mechanical construction has 10 points of articulations, specially applied weathering effects, 8 sets of LED light-up functions and 14 iconic R2-D2 sounds. Additional special features include one pair of  articulated terrain tread legs, one articulated and retractable center tread leg, as well as one extending periscope. 

The extensive list of accessories includes 12 pieces of arms, one life-form scanner, one computer terminal arm, two lock pick arms, one repair arm, two multi-function utility and interface arms, one pair of pair of computer interface arms, one utility arm, one utility saw, one universal computer interface arm, one LED light-up small lamp with cable, one LED light-up base for hologram figures and one infrared remote control for R2-D2’s sound effect and LED light-up functions.
