As Aquaman prepares to swim into theaters everywhere on December 21, 2018, Warner Bros. has dropped one final trailer for the superhero film. The final trailer shows a young Arthur Curry harnessing his Atlantean abilities with Willem Dafoe’s Vulko. He has since used these powers to serve as the “Protector of the Deep,” but as Patrick Wilson’s Orm has promised in every trailer: “War is coming to the surface world.”

In order to “put all of Atlantis back together,” Mera has recruited Arthur to find the most powerful weapon in Atlantis — his iconic trident. But while this trident possess great power, in the wrong hands “it would bring destruction.” From visually breathtaking underwater scenes to epic sea monsters and Nicole Kidman kicking some serious butt, this final trailer promises a thrilling adventure through the seven seas. 

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, and Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna.
