Hasbro heads to a galaxy far, far away with their upcoming Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures 3-3/4” figures. These new figures will be available exclusively at Walmart on December 1, 2018 and then nationwide in January 2019. Accompanying each figure is a mini comic as well as a QR code with more info about each character. 

The first wave of figures, arriving this fall, include Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, and R2-D2. Along with a mini comic and QR code, each 3-3/4” figure also come with their weapon of choice. This includes Vader’s red lightsaber, Skywalker’s green lightsaber, and Chewbacca’s bowcaster. Available for preorder now on Wal-Mart.com, each figure retails for $9.99. 

Arriving in the spring of 2019, the second wave of figures features Princess Leia, Han Solo, Yoda, and an Imperial Stormtrooper. Similar to the first wave, each 3-3/4” figure includes a mini comic, QR code, and one accessory. Leia carries her Defender sporting blaster pistol, Solo comes with his iconic DL-44 heavy blaster pistol, Yoda wields his green lightsaber, and the Stormtrooper comes with an E-11 blaster rifle. Each figure retails for $9.99. 

Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures is a series of animated shorts featured on the Star Wars Kids website and its YouTube channel. This new series was created to help introduce the next generation to the classic themes, pivotal moments, and iconic characters from the Star Wars empire. 

Additional shorts are scheduled to debut in December 2018 and then on a weekly basis starting in 2019.
