Actress Michele Carey, who starred in El Dorado and Live a Little, Love a Little, died of natural causes on November 21, 2018 in Newport Beach, CA. She was 75 years old.

Carey was born in Annapolis, MD on February 26, 1943. During childhood, she displayed talent as a pianist and won a national contest by the age of 13. After graduating from high school, she signed on with the Powers agency and moved to Los Angeles to pursue modeling.

She had a successful modeling career, though was more interested in acting. She made her TV debut in a 1964 episode of The Man from UNCLE. Her first major film role was in 1966’s El Dorado, as the enjoyable troublemaker Josephine MacDonald. She starred opposite Elvis Presley in Live a Little, Love a Little.

Her diverse TV credits include Wendy and Me, The Wild Wild West, Mission: Impossible, Gunsmoke, Starsky and Hutch, and A Man Called Sloane. Some of her additional film credits were The Sweet Ride, Changes, The Animals, The Choirboys, and The Stay Awake.
