Creature Feature Weekend (CFW), the new Gettysburg-based horror convention, has made two big announcements for the Labor Day weekend convention.

To raise money for those in need while enjoying a good horror experience, CFW is working with charity organization, Scares that Care. They’ll host an auction at the con to benefit Scares that Care’s charity.

The con also announced that Billy Bryan has been added to their guest list. Bryan was in Army of Darkness, the puppeteer behind Chucky in Child’s Play, and played the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in the original Ghostbusters. He has worked on special effects and art departments as a propmaker, makeup artist, sculptor, puppeteer, and creature technician on films like The Beastmaster, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Men in Black, Species, Phantoms, and The Village, among others.

Creature Feature Weekend will run on August 30 through September 1, 2019, at the Wyndham Gettysburg, located at 95 Presidential Circle in Gettysburg, PA.

Because the convention reached 1,000 likes on Facebook, the con is offering an early bird special of day passes for Friday and Saturday and discounted weekend passes. The preshow weekend tickets are $45, Friday are $25, Saturday are $25, and Sunday are $20. That rate is available now until March 1.

All the con details and updates can be found on the Creature Feature website and Facebook page.
