In celebration of Batman’s 80th anniversary, Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher’s Batman quadrilogy returns to movie theaters nationwide this May 2019. Presented by Fathom Events, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin will each be played for one day only in more than 600 movie theaters nationwide. 

Kicking things off is director Tim Burton’s 1989 visionary classic Batman on Saturday, May 4, at 1 PM and 4 PM. Starring Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jack Nicholson as the Joker, and Kim Basinger as Vicki Vale, this film is also celebrating its 30th anniversary.

On Monday, May 6 at 4 PM and 7 PM Batman returns in, well, Batman Returns. Both Keaton and Burton also return, alongside Michelle Pfeiffer as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Danny DeVito as the Penguin, and Christopher Walken as Max Shreck.

Val Kilmer slips into the Batsuit for 1995’s Batman Forever, in theaters on Sunday, May 12 at 1 PM and 4 PM. The all-star cast includes Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face, Jim Carrey as the Riddler, Nicole Kidman as Dr. Chase Meridian, Chris O’Donnell as Dick Grayson/Robin, and Drew Barrymore as Sugar. 

Last but certainly not least, Batman & Robin airs in theaters on Tuesday, May 14, at 4 PM and 7 PM. This 1997 film sees George Clooney as the Caped Crusader with O’Donnell respiring his role as Robin. They are joined by Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze, Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy, and Alicia Silverstone as Barbara Wilson/Batgirl.

“The cycle of Batman films that began with Tim Burton’s big screen classic 30 years ago this summer is an amazing group of films that helped usher in an exciting new era of moviemaking,” said Fathom Events Vice President of Studio Relations Tom Lucas. “We’re honored Warner Bros. has turned to Fathom Events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Batman with these iconic superhero films.”
