With just a few weeks until the inaugural event, Creature Feature Weekend has added several novelists to the guest list. The horror con, which will be held over Labor Day Weekend in Gettysburg, PA, has also added in-costume photo ops for movie fans.

The recently announced in-costume photo ops include Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander as the Frog Brothers from The Lost Boys and Walter Phelan as Dr. Satan from House of 1000 Corpses.

That list of authors added to Creature Feature are led by Brian Keene, the award winning writer who has penned novels, comic books, short fiction, and occasionally journalism. Keene has penned over 40 books, mostly in horror, crime, and dark fantasy including The Rising series, the Levi Stoltzfus series, and non-series titles like Dead Sea and The Complex. In comics, he wrote the Dead of Night: Devil-Slayer four-issue limited series for Marvel, The Last Zombie 25-issue series for Antarctic Press, and worked with DC on Doom Patrol and Future’s End.

Robert Ford, author of the novels The Compound and No Lipstick in Avalon, the novellas Ring of Fire and The Last Firefly of Summer, the short story collection The God Beneath My Garden, and co-author of the recent novel A Penny For Your Thoughts, has also been added.

Author guests also added to the list are Kelli Owen (Six Days, Wilted Lillies, and most recently Teeth), Wesley Southard (The Betrayed, Closing Costs, and his latest book, One for the Road), Somer Canon (Vicki Beautiful, Killer Chronicles, Welcome to the Show, and her latest novel, A Fresh Start), Ronald Malfi (Night Parade, The Narrows, Floating Staircase, and Bone White), and Jonathan Janz (The Sorrows, House of Skin, The Nightmare Girl, and Wolf Land).
