Baltimore Comic-Con returns on October 18-20, 2019, at the Baltimore Convention Center. Joining the 20th annual convention are media guests Tara Strong, Greg Cipes and Joel Stoffer.

Tara Strong has lent her talent to roles in many live-action, animated, and video game projects since her professional acting debut at 13. Strong is the voice of numerous animated creations, including main roles in Fillmore!, The Fairly OddParents, Rugrats, All Grown Up!, The Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10, Teen Titans, Teen Titans Go!, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Family Guy, and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

She also voiced English-language localizations of Japanese anime such as Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke, as well as several video games including Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Ratchet & Clank, Batman: Arkham City and Lollipop Chainsaw. Strong can be heard more recently in Animal Crackers, Injustice 2, Charming, and the highly anticipated The My Little Pony Movie.

Her portrayals have garnered nominations in the Annie Awards and Daytime Emmys, an award from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, and a BTVA Voice Acting Award for Voice Actress of the Year and Shorty Award for “Best #Actress” both in 2013.

Greg Cipes began as performer starring in over 30 national television commercials, Broadway musicals, movies, and television shows. All this before the age of 15, he also self-produced his first album. At the same time, Cipes managed to place third in the USA as a junior professional surfer. Over the past 17 years, he’s starred in films and TV shows, put out multiple albums, has produced his own TV shows and movies, and has become a popular voice actor. He has voiced Beast Boy on Teen Titans GO!, Young Justice, DC Super Hero Girls, New Teen Titans, and Teen Titans, Michaelangelo on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, he was Dwight in Fast and Furious, Kevin Levin in Ben 10, and Iron Fist from Ultimate Spider-Man, among many other roles.

“Tara and Greg are in a lot of stuff!” said Marc Nathan, show promoter for the Baltimore Comic-Con. “Tara is an amazingly versatile actress, and her résumé reflects that, and Greg is the definitive Beast Boy. They both play major characters in a significant number of shows and movies, and we can’t wait to have them both to Baltimore!”

Having been a professional actor the last 25 years, Joel Stoffer has had a few opportunities to create some fun sci-fi characters, such as the demon Creo in Charmed; a memorable Vampire in Angel; Portus in Species III; as well as FBI agent Taylor in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Recently, the role of an android Chronicom named Enoch has struck a chord with fans of the Marvel Universe. In season four of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the role started out as a mysterious, possibly sinister, silhouetted man who abducted the Agents but returned in season five to reveal more altruistic intentions. Fans had grown to love his dry, serious humor up until his brave, sacrificial death in episode 10. But as all things are possible in the world of comics, fans anxiously await his return in season seven in 2020!

“Fans of his work are going to recognize Joel immediately,” added Nathan. “If you watch SHIELD you know Enoch and you know what a fascinating addition to the show he's become. We're excited to have Joel with us this year, and our attendees are going to be too!”
