Quantcast

The Eaglemoss Die-Cast Club has crafted a 1:250 scale model of the RMS Titanic. The detailed replica is made in the traditional model ship style of an internal frame made from MDF and wood, with other parts made from brass, high-quality die-cast metal, plastic, and other materials. Once assembled, the model will be 42.4” in length.

The model’s boat deck is made from real wood with detailed lifeboats, cranes, chains, winches, and other deck fixtures replicated from the real ship. The two wooden masts frame the ship’s rigging and communication lines, and four grand funnels dominate the vessel’s silhouette. It can be constructed with glue and basic tools.

Additionally, subscribers will get two sets of lights. The internal lighting kit that fits inside the hull, illuminates the portholes and roofs on the deck. The external lighting includes green and red LED navigation lights positioned on the port and starboard sides of the bridge.

The Titanic model will be sent with a magazine that tells the history of the ocean liner, describes accommodations for all classes of passengers, and takes a look at the stories of the survivors and those who died when the ship tragically sunk on April 15, 1912. It also details how the supposedly unsinkable ship hit the iceberg and disappeared into the depths of the Atlantic Ocean.

Subscribers will also be sent exclusive gifts at no extra cost, including tools, a display base, and a binder. More details on the Titanic model and subscribing for the Die-Cast Club’s bonus offers are available on the Eaglemoss website.
