Settle in for over 20 hours of Star Wars! The Skywalker Saga is returning to theaters for a marathon on May 4, 2024, aka Star Wars Day.

Lucasfilm originally announced that The Phantom Menace would return to theaters on Star Wars Day in celebration of the movie’s 25th anniversary. Now the other eight films in the Skywalker Saga are joining the first prequel film.

The movies will be shown in timeline order starting with the prequel trilogy: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. Then the original trilogy: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Followed by the sequel trilogy: The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker.

The Phantom Menace screening will also include an exclusive look at The Acolyte, the upcoming Disney+ series that is set in the High Republic era. Marathon attendees will receive a special limited edition poster.

The marathon will take over 20 hours to watch with theaters adding in time for trailers and breaks between features. Tickets are on sale now.
