Acclaimed artist P. Craig Russell’s varied and celebrated career has included Marvel’s Killraven, DC/Vertigo’s Sandman, the Night Music series from Eclipse, Elric from a variety of publishers, and a series of stunning adaptations of operas, among other works.

One of his most recent projects was a variant cover for DC’s Before Watchmen: Doctor Manhattan #2.

The 7” x 15” image, created by the artist in mixed media, is the subject of an informative video featuring Russell himself describing the process.
