Wizard World Chicago is taking over the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center for four days of pop culture fun on August 23-26, 2018. As a special treat to hardcore comic collectors attending the show, CBCS is offering attendees the chance to bid on a charity lunch with President Steve Borock. 

This exciting behind-the-scenes experience, offers a rare opportunity to spend some quality time and get the inside scoop from a comic grading and restoration expert with over 40 years of experience. The winning bidder will enjoy a lunch with Borock as he explains how grading is done and how restoration is detected. Borock will even bring some books to lunch to point out specific grading differences and detail how the experts detect restoration.

Lunch with Borock is a benefit for Hero Initiative, the not for profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book creators in need. Hero creates a financial safety net for creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and path back into paying work.

The lunch will take place near Wizard World Chicago on Saturday at 1 PM. Winner must go to the CBCS booth 1312 to redeem the lunch with Borock at a fine local restaurant.
