Heritage’s next Monthly World Coin Auction will cover pieces from the Cambridge Gate Collection, specializing in high grade British Silver Minor coins from the 19th century through George V. Bidding will continue now through February 28, 2016 with a live auction at 8 PM CT.

The Cambridge Gate Collection is noted for its sixpences, which is currently the highest ranked PCGS Registry Set for sixpence sets of Victoria, Edward VII, and George V – all are being sold as complete date sets. Several PCGS-certified coins are in the sixpence group, such as Victoria Proof 6 Pence 1839 PR64 Cameo PCGS, Victoria 6 Pence 1842 MS67 PCGS, Victoria 6 Pence 1845 MS68 PCGS, Victoria 6 Pence 1862 MS64 PCGS, and Victoria 6 Pence 1863 MS65 PCGS.

In addition to sixpences, the sale has plenty from quarter-farthing and crown. Highlights are Victoria Shilling 1850 XF40 PCGS, Victoria Shilling 1851 MS63 NGC, Victoria Shilling 1854 MS62 NGC, and Edward VII Shilling 1905 MS63 PCGS.
