In their current Auction #218, Hake’s Americana & Collectibles is selling an impressive selection of robot and space toys. Among the group are many Japanese robot toys based on TV and anime properties.

A Mirrorman boxed Bullmark wind-up is in lot 2383. The 9-3/4” tall tin litho and plastic wind-up toy was made for the Japanese tokusatsu Mirrorman series, produced by Tsuburaya Productions. The figure has a built-in key on the side and on/off switch on the back. It comes with the original cardboard box and illustrated lid.

Lot 2389 has a Jetter Mars boxed Popy pair. The die-cast metal and plastic toys were made by Popy in 1977. The toys are based on the Jetter Mars anime series, which was originally planned as an anime remake of the manga series Astro Boy. The original box has a 5-3/8” long rocket ship with small plastic and removal Jetter Mars figure in opening cockpit.

An Ultraman Leo Express Train boxed wind-up is in lot 2392. The tin litho toy with tin litho train travels around the 6” x 6-1/4” base. Made in Japan by Bullmark for the Japanese market in the mid-1970s, the lot also includes the original cardboard box with illustrated lid.

Lot 2396 is a Godaikin Tetsujin 28 boxed robot. The deep box contains the 16” tall dynamic super robot made with durable die cast metal as part of Bandai America’s Godaikin line, released in 1982. The robot comes in the cardboard display case with accessories, two Roboboy robots and two maintenance robots.

Lot 2401 has Moonlight Mask Bullmark boxed wind-up. The 9” tall tin litho wind-up figure comes with built-in key and vinyl head and cape. It was made in Japan for the Japanese market by Bullmark in 1970. It comes with the original cardboard box with great illustrated lid.

The Grendizer boxed popy friction bus can be found in lot 2408. The 11” long tin litho bus has vinyl tires and friction action and was made for the Japanese market in the 1970s. It comes with the original cardboard box.

A Chodenshi Bioman boxed Bandai Bio Robo robot is in lot 2430. The Bio Robo super robot has sections that transform into BioJet 1 and BioJet 2. Based on the Japanese Choudenshi Bioman Super Sentai series that aired in the mid-1980s. The robot comes in a cardboard box with weapons and accessories.
