Pedigree Comics’ special high grade Marvel auction is underway. The auction began on the night of Monday, October 10, 2016 and lasts for nine days until the night of Wednesday, October 19 as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website, www.PedigreeComics.com. The first lot will end beginning at 8:14 PM ET (Action Comics #277 9.2) and the last lot will end at 11:59 PM ET (X-Men #140 9.8). There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and every item, save for three, has no reserve. Every book is CGC or CBCS graded and the minimum bid is only $100. There are many incredible groups of books, runs as well as individual highest certified comics from a myriad of titles in the auction, easily their very best auction of 2016 and one of their best online Marvel auctions. Many of the lots come from a fabulous group of books that Pedigree Comics’ CEO and President Doug Schmell, picked up at the New York Comic Con this past weekend, the San Diego Comic-Con in July plus the Wizard World Chicago show in August and the Baltimore Comic-Con in September. Most of these books were recently graded by the CGC with phenomenal results.
