Diamond International Galleries (DIG) continues to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in their weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, October 16, 2016. Join the bidding on great vintage items like a set of two 1930s Laurel and Hardy lead figures by Mingot, a 1938 Walt Disney Enterprises Mickey Mouse lapel pocket watch by Ingersoll, and a lot of 10 TV Guides from the 1960s. They also have a selection of comics including the 1977 The Defenders #52 with a rare 35 cent price variant and original artwork such as “Unappreciative” political cartoon artwork by Gaab Williams.

As this auction ends, the next auction will become available for bidding during its week long run October 16 to October 23. Vintage collectibles featured next week include lot of six Walt Disney State Flower Donald Duck bread labels from the 1950s and a 1930s Walt Disney Studios Hall Brothers Minnie Mouse Easter card. Modern collectibles will include a Cal Ripken Jr. limited edition hall of fame commemorative pillow by Cat Studio and a 1993 DC Comics The Batman Adventures #12 CGC 9.4 featuring the first appearance of Harley Quinn. Popular items that ended in last week’s action on Sunday, October 9, included a variety of CGC graded and slabbed comics. A 1943 Fawcett Captain Midnight #5 graded 7.5 sold for $281. A DC Comics 1961 Green Lantern #5 graded 7.5 featuring a Hector Hammond appearance sold for $256. Golden Age DC Comics 1945 Batman #27 graded 5.0 and featuring a Penguin appearance sold for the opening bid of $350. Also selling for its opening bid, DC Comics Green Lantern #9 graded 9.2 and featuring the first appearance of the Jordan brothers sold for $750. CGC comics were even popular their buy it now style listings as DIG sold a Marvel Comics 1968 Sub-Mariner #1 featuring the Sub-Mariner’s origin, graded 9.2, for $600.
