Quantcast

Just like the weather, things are heating up at Hake’s Americana & Collectibles. The pop culture auction house is in the thick of preparing items for Auction #221 and even shared some previews on their Facebook page.

The auction will include a 1930s advertising sign promoting Popeye Magic Picture Transfer Pictures, Alice Cooper signed microphone, rare 1943 Philadelphia newspaper-issued Batman mask, and jugate button featuring John F. Kennedy and running mate Lyndon B. Johnson.

A Carrie half-sheet depicting Sissy Spacek in the film adaptation of Stephen King’s debut novel, 1950s button promoting the Joe Louis Milk Company, 1972 Aurora King Kong model kit, and Godzilla model kit will be sold.

Hake’s is still accepting certified comic book and original art consignments for the July auction, so if you are ready to part with pieces of your comic collection, contact Consignment Manager Kelly McClain at mkelly@hakes.com or call toll free (866) 404-9800, ext. 1636.
