Nearly 300 pieces of original Disney animation drawings, storyboards, posters, concept artwork and cels will be going up for public auction soon. The collection will be presented by Bonhams Fine Art Auctioneers and Turner Classic Movies in the auction, called “An Important Animation Art Collection, The Property of a Gentleman” in New York City on June 5, 2017.

The collection came together over the course of 25 years by a single private collector, who acquired the art through various auctions and other dealers. More than 60 years of Disney animation is represented in this collection, according to Bonhams.

Key Disney characters, such as Cinderella, Pinocchio, and Mickey Mouse himself, as well as classic villains like Maleficent and the Evil Queen, appear in the collection. Several items, such as a cel of Snow White, are expected to go for between $25,000 and $30,000.

Before going up on the auction block, the collection will be previewed at Bonhams Los Angeles on May 19-21 and then at Bonhams New York on June 2-5.
