It’s an exciting time to be a Spider-Man fan and, according to ComicLink, they are thrilled to announce that a stellar example of his first appearance, Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 8.0 CVA Exceptional will be up for auction in the July Focused Auction beginning on July 12, 2017. This is coming off of the record sale of another very similar Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 8.0, also CVA Exceptional, in the recently concluded Spring Featured Auction for $261,010.

“Amazing Fantasy #15 has always been a very, very tough book to find above 7.5. This example is an 8.0 CVA Exceptional, which means it has exceptional visual appeal for its grade assigned. It exhibits deep, rich colors and only minimal wear. There’s no sign of the ‘Marvel chipping’ that often impacts lesser examples of Amazing Fantasy #15. We expect a lot of interest in this example,” ComicLink founder and President Josh Nathanson said.

Among the other highlights consigned to the July Focused Auction are a strong Tales of Suspense run starting from #1 and including a #39 in CGC 8.0, and Fantucchio pedigree Justice League of America examples.
