Greg Hildebrandt began his illustration career in 1959. For years Greg and his brother Tim worked on thousands of illustrations for text books, children’s books, calendars, book covers, posters, comic books, advertisements, and more.

They gained international acclaim for their work on the original Star Wars movie poster and the 1976, 1977, and 1978 JRR Tolkien Lord of the Rings calendars. Despite Tim’s passing in 2006, Greg continued to pursue his passion for creating art. He currently splits his time between working on his “American Beauties” pin-up art, along with designing tour programs for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
