eMoviePoster began their latest auction on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, featuring the world of movie posters. The new auction contains 999 non-U.S. posters from 26 different countries and can be viewed at www.emovieposter.com.

British quads are Comancheros with different art of John Wayne, The Love Witch with vintage art style, Captain America: The Winter Soldier double-sided advance, Black Panther double-sided teaser of Chadwick Boseman, Wonder Woman double-sided advance featuring Gal Gadot, Thor Ragnarok double-sided teaser, and Wolverine double-sided teaser.

Russian posters include Sie Kannten Sich Alle with dramatic Grebeshenkov art, Im Sonderauftrag featuring Fraiman art, and Koroleva Benzokolonki with art by Samodeyanko.

Belgian examples are Bullitt with Ray Elseviers art of Steve McQueen, Camille for the 1950s rerelease with Greta Garbo and Robert Taylor, and Eyes Without a Face showing great art.

Japanese posters include Star Wars 1982 rerelease with Noriyoshi Ohrai art, Live and Let Die with Robert McGinnis art, For Your Eyes Only style A depicting a closeup of Roger Moore, Hidden Blade double-sided teaser with pretty image, Man with the Golden Gun with art by McGinnis, My Neighbor Totoro teaser for the Hayo Miyazaki film, North by Northwest for the 1970s rerelease, Dodesukaden with fantasy art, How to Steal a Million with close-up of Audrey Hepburn, and American Friend with Dennis Hopper.

Polish posters include Indian Fighter with art by Adam Bowbelski, Ditte Child of Man for the 1954 rerelease with Tomaszewski art, Cangaceiro for the Brazilian western, and White Sheik for the Federico Fellini movie.

Other international highlights are German Childhood of Maxim Gorky for the 1964 rerelease, Italian Taxi Driver group of five photobustas and Racket photobusta with Robert Ryan, Lizabeth Scott, and Robert Mitchum, Danish Dedee D’Anvers with great image of Simone Signoret, Hungarian Vendetta for the Saint showing Roger Moore in action and Barefoot in the Park with cool art by Kalmanchey, English Deer Hunter double crown for the Michael Cimino film, French Revolt of Mamie Stover depicting Jane Russell, and Cuban Stolen Kisses silkscreen with art by Azcuy.

Three surprising results from the auction that ended on January 16 were an Italian High Society Italian one-panel for $850, Iron Man window card for $775, and Bar Sinister window card for $423.

Every one of the more than 1.4 million items eMoviePoster has sold overall started at $1 with no reserve and no buyer’s premiums. Over 60% of the 140,000 unique items sold in 2017 realized $19 or less, with over 20,000 ending at just $1, $2, or $3 each.

Despite their name, they don’t just auction movie posters. They also auction many tens of thousands of vintage stills, lobby cards, as well as scripts, all sorts of special posters, and more. They will soon have an auction of rare photographic transparencies and negatives on February 4-11 and they will also have an all-signed auction that runs from February 25 to March 4.
