Hake’s Americana & Collectibles will host an online exclusive comic auction starting next week on Monday, August 20 and closing on Thursday, August 30, 2018. The auction will be filled with hundreds of Golden to Modern Age CGC-certified comic books, all starting at just $1.

The auction will contain many first appearances and keys, led by X-Men #1 CGC 4.5 with the first appearance of X-Men and Magneto, Daredevil #1 CGC 3.5 with the debut of Daredevil, and Fantastic Four #1 CGC 2.5 Restored featuring the introduction of the Fantastic Four.

Books showcased in the auction include Fantastic Four #3 CGC 3.5 (first Fantastic Four in costume) and #48 CGC 6.0 (first Silver Surfer and Galactus), Avengers #2 CGC 5.0 (first Space Phantom) and #59 CGC 7.0 (first Yellowjacket), Daredevil #131 CGC 6.0 (first Bullseye), X-Men #2 CGC 3.0 (first Vanisher) and #28 CGC 7.5 (first Banshee), #101 CGC 8.5 (first Phoenix), and #12 CGC 5.5 (first Juggernaut), Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21 CGC 9.6 (Peter Parker and Mary Jane’s wedding), Amazing Spider-Man #5 CGC 3.0 and #252 CGC 9.2 and Marvel Team-Up #141 CGC 9.4 – both credited as the first Spider-Man black costume since they came out the same month, Fantastic Four Annual #3 CGC 6.5 (Reed Richards and Sue Storm’s wedding), Superboy #68 CGC .5 (first Bizarro), Action Comics #242 CGC .5 (first Brainiac) and #340 CGC 7.0 (first Parasite), Showcase #73 CGC 8.0 (first Creeper), Fawcett’s Funny Animals #1 CGC 4.5 Restored (first Marvel Bunny), Superman #17 CGC 4.5 Restored Apparent, and Tales to Astonish #35 CGC 4.5 Restored Apparent (first Ant-Man in costume).
