eMoviePoster closed their 19th Annual Halloween Auction with scary good results, ending at $287,928 in total sales. The three-part auction contained 1,281, with record prices achieved for several items.

Part I was filled with 281 linen-backed and oversized posters of all sorts and ended at $131,428. Part II featuring 419 posters cleared $56,143. Part III held 581 folded posters, lobby cards, stills, and other items reached $100,357.

Their top 13 individual results were Master Mystery linen-backed one-sheet for $15,831, Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman linen-backed one-sheet for $15,499, Frankenstein lobby card for $13,003, The Day the Earth Stood Still linen-backed British quad for $9,000, Forbidden Planet linen-backed one-sheet for $6,749, House of Dracula linen-backed one-sheet for $5,905, Murder By Television linen-backed one-sheet for $5,750, 2001: A Space Odyssey linen-backed one-sheet for $4,699, Son of Frankenstein mini window card for $4,200, Jaws one-sheet for $3,715, Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein insert for $3,225, King Kong rerelease half-sheet for $2,356, and Dr. No insert for $2,100.

Both buyers and consignors told them that they felt it was a major success, according to eMoviePoster. The $287,928 in sales, pushed their 2018 total to $4,615,120, which could give them their best sales year ever.

Their December Major Auction is open for consignments and will be held on December 2-16. More information on both of these special auctions can be found on the eMoviePoster website. The auction will start from scratch with fresh consignments consigned specifically to this auction. It will have no buyer’s premiums or unenhanced supersized images. It will be filled with posters from all film years and genres from the U.S. and internationally.
