ComicConnect’s Event Auction #37 is filled with Golden Age titles for vintage comic collectors. “We have a gorgeous selection of treasures of the Golden Age including everything from popular key issues to obscure cult favorites,” said ComicConnect COO Vincent Zurzolo. “There is a comic in the auction for every collector. Golden Age highlights in the auction include Adventure Comics #72 CGC 7.0 showcasing Simon and Kirby in their first DC work, All American Comics #61 CGC 7.5 featuring the first appearance of Solomon Grundy, Archie Comics #1 CGC 0.5, Detective Comics #3 CGC 5.5 the highest graded copy from the Lost Valley pedigree, and Detective Comics #73 CGC 6.5 featuring Scarecrow’s first and only Golden Age appearance. 

Additional highlights include Green Hornet Comics #1 CGC 8.5 with first appearances of the Hornet himself and the ever-faithful and dangerous Kato, Marvel Mystery Comics #2 CGC 9.0, #22 CGC 5.0, #32 CGC 6.0, #33 CGC 5.0, #48 CGC 9.4, and #64 CGC 7.5, Police Comics #2 CGC 9.4 featuring an opium smuggling Plastic Man and #5 CGC 9.6 (both from the Mile High pedigree), Prize Comics #5 CGC 9.0, and many more.
