First appearances and first issues dominate collecting checklists and more than a few of those boxes can be filled in during ComicConnect’s Event Auction #38.

The auction features Barry Allen’s debut as the Flash in Showcase #4 CGC 7.5, which saw the Silver Age off to a running start, and an excellent copy of Wonder Woman #98 CGC 8.0.

Marvel’s First Family made their first appearance in Fantastic Four #1 CGC 8.0 and one graded CGC 4.5 signed by Stan Lee. Multiple copies of Spider-Man’s first appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15 in varying conditions are up for grabs alongside a couple of nice copies of Spidey’s first issue, one with Stan Lee’s autograph.

Collectors have two options for Hulk’s first appearance with Incredible Hulk #1 CBCS 9.8 Restored and CGC 7.0 universal label. A high grade Iron Man #2 CGC 9.9 and first appearances by Daredevil as well as Thor in Journey into Mystery round out the Silver Age highlights.
