Artist, historian and escape artist Jim Steranko will join the 2013 edition of the Pittsburgh Comicon as their Guest of Honor, the show has announced.

The visionary artist behind a definitive era of Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD, Captain America and other titles will join previously announced guests George Pérez, Michael Golden, Ron Frenz, Scott McDaniel, Pat Olliffe, Broadsword’s Jim Balent and Holly G, Rudy Nebres, and Barry Kitson, among others, for the September 27-29, 2013 edition of the con. They’ll be joined by Zenescope and Star Wars actor Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett), with many others to be announced.
