Aloha Hawaii fans, are you ready for a star-studded convention on a beautiful island? Well get ready, Hawaii Con is headed your way on September 15-18, 2016, located at The Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows at 68-1400 Mauna Lani Drive, Kohala Coast, Hawaii.

This exciting convention will include an impressive collection of celebrity guests, including Rod Roddenberry, Nichelle Nichols and Walter Koenig (Star Trek), Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Chase Masterson (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Manu Intiraymi (Star Trek: Voyager), Vic Mignogna and Michele Specht (Star Trek: Continues), Aaron Douglas and Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica), Patricia Tallman (Babylon 5), Amy Hoff, Alasdair Reavey, Maria Jones and Nike Johnston (Caledonia), Kayre Morrison (Futurama), and Gina Keali'inohomoku Bowes (Bleach: Memories of Nobody).

Comic book writers and artists, include Bill Morrison (The Simpsons), Siya Oum (Lola XOXO), Jane Wiedlin (Lady Robotika: The Space Opera), Sam Campos (Pineapple Man), Christopher Caravalho (Mana Comics), Dowyne Keawekane (Island Tales), and Todd Bernardy (Kukui Project). Famous cosplayers Fileena Bahris, Tatiana DeKhtyar, and Larissa Paige will also be attending. Not to mention renowned scientists Stephanie Slater, Daniella Scalise, Michael Meyer, Tania Burchell, Rebecca Oppenheimer, and Michelle Thaller.

Hawaii Con has created a unique list of events that allow you to explore the island alongside your favorite stars. From snorkeling and diving, to deep sea fishing, learning about Hawaiian culture with scientists, and even a cosplay casino. There will also be several panels, workshops, photo-ops, a cosplay contest, and an oceanfront lu'au gala dinner with surprise celebrity guests. A full schedule of events will be added as the convention gets closer.

The con will be open through the weekend beginning Thursday at 7 AM to Sunday at 12 PM. One-day passes are $25 for Thursday and $10 for children 6-12, while one-day passes for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are $66 and $35 for children 6-12. Children 5 and under get in for free, and VIP packages are also available.
