Alright Philadelphians, it's time to dust off your favorite neon windbreaker and slip into those Air Jordan's, Retro Con is headed your way! The con will be held on September 24-25, 2016 at The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at 100 Station Avenue, Oaks, PA.

This exciting old school convention has already offered a taste of the guest celebrities they will be hosting, including Michael Winslow (Police Academy, Spaceballs), Alan Oppenheimer (He-Man & The Masters of the Universe), and Cam Clarke and Pat Fraley (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), as well as wrestlers Ted DiBiase, Stephanie Bellars, and Eric "The Smoke" Moran (Heroes of Cosplay). Along with the cast of the web series Living in 8Bits and The Angry Video Game Nerd, James Rolfe. Cosplay groups such as 501st Garrison Carida, The Finest: A G.I. Joe Costume Club, and the Delaware and Philadelphia Ghostbusters will also be in attendance.

Retro Con is featuring over 215 tables of retro fun sure to spark childhood flashbacks. In addition, everyone in attendance has a chance to win a raffle prize, participate in costume and karaoke contests for cash prizes, or check out Grenex Media's cosplay photo booth to create their own professional portraits. The Game is Afoot Arcade will include the classic arcade games you know and love, while Extra Life is holding a 24-hour gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The Breaux Show is also hosting a trivia contest and giving out exciting geeky prizes.

The con is running Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday 9 AM to 4 PM. One-day passes are $18 for Saturday and $15 for Sunday, while a weekend pass is $23. Children 12 and under get in for free with a paying adult. For more information on the con or to purchase your tickets, visit retrocons.com.
