Calling all gamers and geeks in the Rhode Island area, the Rhode Island Comic Con (RICC) is headed your way on November 11-13, 2016. It will be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center on 1st Sabin Street in Providence, Rhode Island.
Each week leading up to the convention RICC is adding new names to the already extensive guest list. So far, special guests attending the convention include Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Stan Lee (Spider-Man), Kate Beckinsale (Underworld), Christian Serratos and Jeffery Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Billie Piper (Doctor Who), Frank Grillo (The Purge 2), Alfonso Ribeiro (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), Alexandria Breckenridge (American Horror Story), Amy Jo Johnson (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Arthur Darvill and Casper Crump (Legends of Tomorrow), Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars), Bill Diamond (Fraggle Rock), Brett Dalton (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), D.J. Kick off the weekend with a bang at the 21+ Zany Zombie Night party on Friday, or Flashback to the ’90s at the 21+ Saturday afterparty. Looking for something more kid-friendly, well you're in luck! RICC features a kid-con filled with activities specifically for the little ones, including a kids only cosplay contest. Don't miss out on the comedy show with Undateable's Ron Funches, or test your fandom knowledge at the who wants to be a super millionaire game show. RICC also includes a Spellbound fashion show, cosplay contest, and countless panels ranging from anime to zombies.
The con is running Friday 3 PM to 9 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes for adults are $30 for Friday, $40 for Saturday, and $35 for Sunday. While one-day passes for kids are $10 for Friday, $15 for Saturday, and $10 for Sunday. Children 6-12 years old get in for free. Three-day passes are $75 for adults and $25 for kids. VIP packages are also available.
