The Northeast Comic Con & Collectibles Extravaganza (NECC) is nearly here! The pop culture expo is taking place at the Hanover Mall Event Center on 1775 Washington Street in Hanover, Massachusetts. 

Special guests attending the convention include Micky Dolenz (the Monkees), James Tolkan (Back to the Future), Billy West (Doug), Mark Goddard (Lost in Space), Susan Backlinie (Jaws), Peter Bernard (Those American Girls), Bill Diamond (Little Shop of Horrors), Kadrolsha Ona (Queen of the Paranormal), Will Murray (Squirrel Girl), Gary Sohmers (Antiques Roadshow), Philo Barnhart (The Little Mermaid), Charles Moissant (Whispers from The Void), Joe Caramagna (Amazing Spider-Man), Lundberg Graphics (Harold the Happy Human Eater), Bob Eckstein (MAD Magazine), Steve Geiger (The Incredible Hulk), Joey Mars (Cash Money Aliens), Joe St. Pierre (Rai), Gary Eckerson (Life’s a Beach), artist Karen Gosselin, sculptor Lawrence Elig, and mask maker Eric Bornstein.

In addition to geekbeat radio, photo-ops, and stand-up comics, NECC will host various cosplay contests, panels, and games. The show will also feature the Monkeemobile, the Back to the Future DeLorean, the Lost in Space robot B-9, and a full size TARDIS from Doctor Who. As well as a fully stocked vintage and modern gaming station, a Starships Horizon bridge stimulator and geek fit lightsaber training classes. There will also be a decked out Kids Zone with workshops and fun activities specifically for younger ones.

The con is running Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One day passes are $15 for Saturday and $12 for Sunday. A full weekend pass is available for $20, in addition to various VIP packages. Children 12 and under admitted for free.
