Sci-fi, pop culture and comics invade the Empire State on December 1-2, 2018. The New York Winter Con is taking place at the Resorts World Casino on 110-00 Rockaway Boulevard in Jamaica, New York. 

Special guests attending the show include Taylor Gray and Vanessa Marshall (Star Wars Rebels), Brian Downey, Xenia Seeberg, Michael McManus and Ellen Dubin (LEXX) and Bin Furuya and Tsugutoshi Komada (Godzilla vs. Megalon). Winter Con will also feature artists from all over the world in Artist Alley, where attendees can browse through prints, posters, cards, original art, commissioned sketches, and more. 

Winter Con will have fun activities running all weekend, including fandom Cosplay Photo Meet-Ups, autograph and photo sessions with special guests, the official Winter Con Cosplay Contest, and the weekend-long outdoor party with a live DJ. The show also has plenty of events for the young ones, such as the Kids Costume Showcase and the lightsaber training session hosted by The Empire Saber Guild. 

The con is running Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. Adult one-day passes are $25 for Saturday, $30 for Sunday, while a child’s pass (6-12) is $15 for Saturday and $12 for Sunday. A full weekend pass is $40 for adults and $25 for children. VIP passes are also currently available.
