AggieCon, which caters to all fandoms, geared toward science fiction, fantasy, gaming, horror, anime, and more, is coming up very soon on March 22-24, 2019. The con is run by Cepheid Variable, the oldest Texas A&M student organization that is devoted to support and promotion of all things geeky. It’ll be held at the Hilton Hotel and Convention Center, 801 University Drive E, College Station, TX.

The vendor-focused con will be set up in the 27,000 square-foot indoor/outdoor space. They will host 50 vendors and artists selling everything from plush and prints to collectibles and games to candles and a henna artist.

Guests and panelists include Christopher Wehkamp (voice actor My Hero Academia), Harris O’Malley (blogger), Charlayne Denney (author, Lilly’s Angel), Ashe Thurman (voice actor My Time at Portia: Nora), Aaron Dismuke (voice actor Fullmetal Alchemist), Kathryn Friesen (author The Prophesied), and Mastermind Comics.

There will be tabletop gaming and an anime room, karaoke, dance party, a student day, comedy club, Austin 48-hour Film Festival, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and charity auction.

The con is open Friday 12 PM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 3 PM.

The three-day badge is $50 for non-students, $30 for students, kids 6-12 for $15, and kids 0-5 get in for free. Friday badges are $25, Saturday badges are $25, and Sunday badges are $20. Tickets can be purchased at touchnet.com or at cepheid.org.
