Awesome Con, the large comics and pop culture event in DC, is coming up soon on April 26-28, 2019. Once again, the con is returning to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC.

Many dealers will be set up on the sprawling con space, selling a wide selection of comics, collectibles, apparel, and other goodies. The show will have an Awesome Con Jr. area dedicated to kids, future con exhibits where science meets science fiction, Pride Alley with LGBTQ events and artists, costume contest, and the first Funko Swap Meet.

The convention will be open on Friday 12 PM to 8 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM.

The three-day weekend pass is $80, Friday is $40, Saturday is $55, Sunday is $45, and the kids’ weekend pass is $15. There are also VIP packages for the con and specific guests.
