Archie Comics is looking to promote some Halloween fun for both the young and young at heart. With that in mind, they’ve announced the 2009 Archie Halloween Costume Contest.

To enter, get your costume together (for you and/or your pet), take a picture, and email it as an attachment to 2009.halloween.contest@archiecomics.com (be sure to put the words "2009 Costume Contest" in the subject line). Multiple entries are permitted.

The contest will be closed for new entries at midnight (ET) on Halloween, October 31, 2009, and the voting will start on November 1.

There are twelve prizes this year: two Grand Prizes of a one year free subscription to ArchieDigital.com each, and 10 Runners-up Prizes of 30-day subscriptions to ArchieDigital.com each.

Voting will end at 12:00 AM ET November 15. Each voter can only vote once. Double voting is not allowed.
