Marvel’s comic adaptation of Star Wars: The Force Awakens will arrive in comic book stores in June. The five-issue adaptation will be written by Chuck Wendig (Hyperion) with art by Luke Ross (Hercules). Aside from Poe Dameron, who is starring in his own title, this marks the first time that characters from The Force Awakens will appear in comics.

The comic will be in stores on June 22, 2016. The first issue will include covers by Phil Noto, Joe Quesada, Esad Ribic, and John Cassady. Marvel has revealed a look at debut variant covers, including art by Quesada and Noto and a sketch variant by Ribic.
