The first official trailer for the third Wolverine solo movie, Logan, released online on October 20, 2016. The story, loosely based on the Old Man Logan arc, sees an older Wolverine and Professor X in the future of 2024 as they deal with the loss of the X-Men.

The movie once again stars Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine with Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Charles Xavier. Logan is set to be the final time that Jackman portrays the character. The movie is directed by James Mangold and will release on March 3, 2017.
