A new (but familiar) entry into the ongoing Mario & Luigi series of roleplaying games was announced for the 3DS at Nintendo’s Treehouse live presentation at E3 on June 13, 2016. The game, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions, was unveiled with a trailer that can be seen below.

This is a remake of the very first Mario & Luigi game, which was released for the Game Boy Advance back in 2003. The 3DS remake features a number of upgrades, which of course include a total graphical overall. There’s also the addition of the “Minions Mode,” which focuses on a group of Goombas as they try and rescue Bowser on their own.

The game arrives on October 6, 2017.
