On June 28, 2017, Valiant Entertainment’s X-O Manowar Volume 1: Soldier trade paperback will arrive in stores for just $9.99. This new ongoing series is led by New York Times bestselling writer Matt Kindt (Divinity) and blockbuster artist Tomas Giorello (Bloodshot Reborn). On the same day, X-O Manowar #4 – the first issue of “General,” the series’ second arc – will also be debuting on shelves.

As part of a new trade paperback release program each of the series’ subsequent volumes in 2017 – including X-O Manowar Volume 2: General with artist Doug Braithwaite (Armor Hunters) in September, and X-O Manowar Volume 3: Emperor with artist Clayton Crain (4001 A.D.) in December – will be offered for $9.99 and arrive alongside a new arc or jumping-on point.

Each volume includes over 30 pages of rarely seen art, character designs, creator commentary, and bonus features. X-O Manowar’s first trade paperback kicks off with the complete collection of Soldier, as well as a special prelude once only available in Valiant’s 2017 Free Comic Book Day release, written by Matt Kindt with explosive artwork by Cafu (Rapture).
