IDW Publishing has partnered with Disney Publishing to bring Scrooge McDuck and his mischievous great-nephews back in a clever new comic book series to coincide with the brand-new DuckTales series, debuting on Disney XD on Saturday, September 23, 2017.

DuckTales: Treasure Trove will collect #1 and #2 from the ongoing series as well as the special introductory #0, which take place prior to the series opener. The story is told from the vantage point of Huey, Dewey, and Louie as they prepare to meet their famous uncle for the first time. Written by Eisner-nominated creator Joe Caramagna and illustrated by a number of the finest Disney artists, the title is set to bring a number of vibrant new short stories to the world of DuckTales.

“DuckTales is always about race cars, lasers, and aeroplanes,” Caramagna said, referencing the classic theme song. “The challenge for readers will be not to hum that tune while they read this series. Woo-oo!”

DuckTales: Treasure Trove arrives as an 80-page trade paperback in November 2017.
