Fittingly, Netflix chose Friday the 13th to release the final new trailer for Stranger Things season two. While details on the new season have been scarce, the trailer promises more ’80s nostalgia and even bigger monsters.

The season picks up in 1984, a full year after the events of the previous season. While Will Byers and his friends seem content to battle fictional monsters in the Dragon’s Lair, fate seems to have other plans. Although Will managed to escape the horrors of the Upside Down, its appears he’s still connected to the gigantic monsters lurking there.

Between Eleven’s return, Chief Hopper tossing guns to Nancy Wheeler, menacing kids in Halloween masks, a frantic Joyce Byers, and whatever is happening to Will, things are certainly heating up in the town of Hawkins, Indiana. The show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, certainly seem on track to deliver their promised “spookier, scarier, and bigger in action” second season.

Stranger Things season two will begin streaming on Netflix on October 27.
