The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have managed to continue capturing audiences of all ages ever since their comic book debut in 1984. Thanks to that continued success, the franchise will receive its fourth cartoon series beginning in 2018, which will be called Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; the series will follow the brothers Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo as they unlock the secrets of the Big Apple.

The voice cast was recently announced, and will feature the talents of Omar Miller as Raphael, Ben Schwartz as Leonardo, Josh Brenner as Donatello, and Brandon Mychal Smith as Michelangelo. They’ll be joined by Kat Graham as April O’Neil and Eric Bauza as Splinter. The new series will kick off with a 26-episode debut season on Nickelodeon.

Fans of the franchise can currently head to Hake’s Americana for a unique piece. An artboard with pen and ink original art by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman with inks and wash by Bob McLeod is up for auction; the art was featured as the “Pin-Up Page” inside back cover of Michelangelo #1, published by Mirage Studios in December 1985. The art features all four Turtles perched on a ledge above a mugger attempting to rob a couple in an alleyway. Both Eastman and McLeod have signed the upper right, and the back of the board has a black felt tip pen Turtle sketch by Eastman. Interested bidders are encouraged to get their bids in soon, as the auction will close on November 14-16, 2017.
