March 2018 marks the end of Jane Foster’s run as the Asgardian hero, Thor. In honor of the God of Thunder’s approaching demise, Marvel is releasing ten different variant covers featuring the hero. These covers will highlight important moments from Foster’s time wielding Mjölnir. 

“The epic showdown years in the making finally explodes across the heavens. Thor battles the unstoppable Mangog, with the fate of all Asgardia hanging in the balance. Is Thor willing to pay the ultimate price in order to save the gods? The tragic and heroic story of Jane Foster finally reaches its heart-rending zenith. You knew it was coming. The Death of Thor is here at last,” reads the solicitation for Mighty Thor #705. 

The artists and the books they’ll be drawing variant covers for includes Amazing Spider-Man #797 by Clayton Crain, Avengers #683 by Humberto Ramos, Black Panther #171 by Nick Bradshaw, Daredevil #600 by Leinil Yu, Doctor Strange: Damnation #2 by Ema Lupacchino, Infinity Countdown #1 by Russell Dauterman, Invincible Iron Man #598 by Dale Keown, Mighty Thor #705 by Esad Ribic, New Mutants #1 by Chris Stevens, and Old Man Hawkeye #3 by Olivier Coipel. 

Mighty Thor #705 is scheduled to hit shelves on March 21.
