Disney has released a short video online that showcases the immense amount of work being done to prep the building that will eventually house the Guardians of the Galaxy-themed roller coaster. The attraction will be in the Future World portion of Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort.

According to the video’s description, “960 trucks’ worth of concrete was poured to create the foundation of what will soon take shape as Epcot’s mammoth Guardians of the Galaxy-themed attraction. The attraction is on track to become one of the world’s longest enclosed coasters, and to house it, a new facility is being built adjacent to the existing Universe of Energy building.”

The attraction replaces the Universe of Energy ride, which was originally an opening day attraction for Epcot. Though the building itself is being gutted, the futuristic mirrored exterior is set to remain, according to the concept art released so far. This ride will be the first Marvel-themed attraction to be built at Walt Disney World; Disney’s California Adventure currently has Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!. It will also soon have an entire Marvel-themed land at that park.

There is currently no opening date set for the Epcot attraction, though most rumors have pointed to the ride being planned for a 2021 opening – just in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World at large.
