Disney has confirmed the opening time periods for the new land coming to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida and Disneyland Park in California, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The new themed area will be opening first in Disneyland Park in summer 2019 before it opens at Hollywood Studios in late fall 2019.

The land was first announced in 2015 and has been under construction in both parks since 2016. It will be one of the most immersive areas in any Disney park, placing attendees in an outpost on the planet Batuu. Galaxy’s Edge will feature attractions that put fans in control of the Millennium Falcon, as well as facing off against the First Order. A cantina will also be present in the area, and visitors will be treated differently by its patrons depending on how well they are able to pilot the Millennium Falcon.

A Star Wars-themed hotel is also planned for the Florida resort, though there is currently no opening date set for that as of yet.
