A new live-action trailer for the upcoming Nintendo Switch video games, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! has been released, focused entirely on the mysterious new Pokémon called Meltan.

Meltan actually first started to appear in the mobile title, Pokémon Go, in recent weeks. This new species of Pokémon has a body made out of some kind of liquid metal, and it absorbs other kinds of metal as well. According to the trailer description, “it’s curious, it’s expressive, and there’s no telling what it’ll do next! We’re working round the clock to learn more about this mysterious new Pokémon.” Given that a trailer has now focused exclusively on Meltan, it’s likely that this new Pokémon will play a large role in the Let’s Go games – especially with the evolution that was teased at the end of this new trailer.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! debut exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018.
