Valiant Entertainment has presented an extended look into Livewire #1, the new ongoing series by writer Vita Ayala (Supergirl) and artists Raúl Allén and Patricia Martín (Secret Weapons).

Accomplice. Mentor. Savior. And now, Enemy of the State. Seeking to protect other vulnerable superpowered psiots like herself, Livewire plunged the United States into a nationwide blackout with her technopathic abilities, causing untold devastation. After choosing the few over the many, she must now outrun the government she served – and those she once called allies. With the whole world hunting her, what kind of heroine will Livewire be…or will she be one at all?

On December 14, 2018, one of Valiant’s most significant superstars climbs to the forefront of her first-ever solo series in Livewire #1 – featuring covers by Adam Pollina (X-Force), Harvey Tolibao (Green Arrow), and Doug Braithwaite (X-O Manowar).

The Livewire #1-8 preorder edition is currently still available for preorder, with the final order cut-off date slated for November 26. Released monthly from December 2018 through July 2019, each preorder edition comes packed with trade paperback-style extras, bonus content, and exclusive covers by a host of artists – beginning with Paulina Ganucheau (The Unbelievable Gwenpool) – all for no extra cost.

Valiant is also producing a limited Livewire #1 glass variant cover, printed via a special multi-colored process on a pane of glass with art by Doug Braithwaite (Justice). Those interested in procuring this cover can contact Valiant’s sales team at sales@valiantentertainment.com to learn more.
